Every 2-3 weeks the client will need to attend a maintenance appointment to extend the life of their lashes. This will involve replacing missing or loose lashes.

Position the client on the couch and prepare the lashes as you would for the application procedure.

You will need to assess the lashes and decide whether any will need replacing. If so, these will need to be removed.

Then apply any replacement lashes following the usual application procedure. The number of lashes used will depend on how many have been lost and how many are required to give the client a balanced and well-proportioned look.

  • For 24 hours avoid getting extensions wet/steam, sauna or swim
  • Return for regular maintenances 2-3 weekly
  • Do not use eyelash curlers or perm the extensions
  • Do not use waterproof make up (as the remover will affect the bonding
  • agent)
  • Do not pick or pull at the extensions

Once the 24 -48hours has passed:

Clean lash extensions regularly to increase longevity and reduce the risk of infection, itchy eyelids, and other irritations. You should be cleaning your eyelash extensions every other day at least, but every day is preferable. Dirt, oil, debris, dead skill cells, and other leftovers can build up at your lash line, which may not even be visible to the naked eye without the help of a magnifying glass. Not cleaning your lashes can lead to lash Mites.
