PROCEDURE

  • Cleanse and prepare the brows using brow shampoo or pre waxing spray
  • Place tint over the client’s brow including the small fine hairs above and below the brow using a cotton bud or tint brush. Once you have applied the tint carefully, ensure the tint is neat in a brow shape that similar to your clients natural brow. Remember the tint will stain the skin as well as the hairs so ensure its not be placed too much out of the natural brow shape. You can use a clean cotton bud to neaten the edges and make the tint straight.
  • Leave tint on for approx. 1-5 minutes depending how dark the client wishes to go
  • Remove tint and show the client the colour, if they wish to go darker repeat the procedure until desired shade
  • Measure out the brow points (start, arch and end of brow) using a brow buddy tool or string and a white marker pen
  • Once the measuring points are in place, start to join them to make your template around the brow
  • Brush the hairs up and trim to a neat edge on top of the brow, do the same for the bottom line
  • Start waxing into position using the template to ensure accuracy and a neat edge
  • Precision tweezing to remove any leftover unwanted hairs
  • Ask the client if they wish to have the finishing touch of make up on their brows (some may say no, and this is okay). Highlighter under the bottom line to enhance the arch and powder or pencil through the brow depending how bold the client wishes to go.
